The Fairfield Region's

Psychoanalysis and Film series

will be discussing:

"Moonlight"

June 18

 11 AM - 1 PM

"Moonlight" is a look at three defining chapters in the life of Chiron, a young African American gay man growing up in poverty during the “war on drugs era”.  His epic journey to manhood is guided by the kindness, support and love of the community that helps raise him.  The film beautifully portrays the crushing loneliness and horrific violence of being a gay man in a culture where homosexuality is a weakness.

Moonlight is a perfect film for a psychoanalytic audience. The film is available on VOD, DVD and Blu Ray.

Please view the film before the meeting.

The meeting will take place at the home of

George Hagman:

1912 Shippan Ave. Stamford, CT  06902

The Film Club is open to all CSPP members and you do not have to have attended earlier meetings to take part.

RSVP: Susanne Weil
