Title: “Somatic Experiencing and Self- Psychology: Resolving trauma and expanding the sense of self"

Lunch and social hour will begin at 11:00, with the presentation beginning promptly at 12:00.
Description: Mary Daly, Psy.D., will introduce concepts from Somatic Experiencing and discuss clinical examples in which these concepts and tools can be integrated into a self-psychological model to facilitate work with trauma survivors and others who experience somatic disconnection and/or physiological and affective dysregulation.

Parking: Enter off of Retreat Ave, past the guard station, into the parking lot directly in front of the guard station, the lot “golf lot”
Once parked follow the path the short walk (about 5 minutes) to the commons building, and enter on the side of the building where there are signs for “Myths, minds and medicine museum,” following the staircase up to the 2nd floor, where the Hartford room will be easily located.
